Job Title: Boiler Watchman Department: Engineering 

Status: Full- Time Shift: Mon- Thurs. 8am-4pm ; Sun 4pm-12pm

Overview: Responsible for maintaining boiler rooms in Medical Center .

Principal Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in boiler room operation & maintenance, experience with Low/High pressure boilers preferred or related trade such as plumbing.
  • Must be able to work with hand tools and trouble shoot mechanical malfunctions.
  • Must be able to work independently after orientation and training.
  • Must be able to interact successfully with co-workers, patients, residents, and the general public.
  • Previous healthcare experience a plus.

Job Title: Carpenter Department: Engineering

Status: Full- Time Shift: Mon- Fri.; 8am-4pm

Overview: Responsible for a variety of carpentry functions within the Engineering department.

Principal Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in all phases of carpentry, sheetrock partitions, acoustical ceilings and hardware installation.
  • Formica and cabinet work a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently after orientation and training.
  • Must be able to interact successfully with co-workers, patients, residents, and the general public.
  • Previous healthcare experience a plus.

Job Title: HVAC Mechanic Department: Engineering

Status: Full- Time Shift: Mon- Fri; Day Shift

Overview: Responsible for maintaining all HVAC systems in Medical Center and Komanoff Center .

Principal Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working with chillers, package and pslit units.

  • Must be able to work with hand tools and trouble shoot mechanical malfunctions.
  • Must be able to work independently after orientation and training.
  • Must be able to interact successfully with co-workers, patients, residents, and the general public.
  • Previous healthcare experience a plus.
