Job Title: Medical Technologist

Status: Part-Time
Shift: Day, Evening, and/or Night
Overview: Responsible for performing clinical laboratory tests which require the exercise of independent judgment with minimal supervision in only those areas in which they are qualified by education, training and experience.
Principle Requirements:
- Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology/ Biological Sciences with completion of an accredited internship.
- NYS-DOE Technologist License.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Medical Technologist as a Generalist.
- Blood Bank competency required.
- Must be able to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, division using percentages and decimals.
- Must demonstrate ability to organize and maintain records, reports and statistical data.
- Must interact successfully with patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, lab Staff and other staff.
