Job Title: Unit Support Aide
Department: Nursing Central 3
Status: Full Time
Shift: 8am to 4pm
Overview:
Responsible for all in-house transportation and performing select patient care procedures under the direction and supervision of an RN.
Principal Requirements:
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to interact successfully with patients, visitors, staff, other departments, and public
Must be able to stand for long periods of time while pushing wheelchairs, stretchers and filled utility carts
Must be able to physically transfer patients from bed to wheelchairs and stretchers; and vice versa
Experience as transporter or giving direct patient care preferred.
