Medical Students

Long Beach Medical Center, first chartered in 1922, is a 362 bed health care institution comprising 162 acute care beds and 200 long-term care beds.

We are situated on a magnificent barrier beach island that has more than three miles of white, sandy beach within walking distance of the hospital.

We are fully approved by the American Osteopathic Association for 14 rotating osteopathic interns as well as 14 family practice osteopathic residents and 6 Osteopathic Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residents.

As part of our commitment to provide quality education to all medical students, we provide the following clinical clerkships for third and fourth year medical students.
